What is SCRUBS?
SCRUBS is a group of young and enthusiastic supporters dedicated to safeguarding the future of healthcare in their region through consistent annual contributions. They are – in essence – our newest generation of philanthropists!
Founded in 2005 to engage younger community members with Huntington Hospital, SCRUBS is a dynamic and forward-thinking group whose support has become invaluable.
SCRUBS recently pledged to help support the reconstruction of Huntington Hospital’s Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care units, facilitating the most healing and comforting environment possible for more than 1,300 young patients and their families who turn to us for medical care every year. Through their Bring it Home Campaign, SCRUBS members are seeking to raise $1.8 million by the end of 2014.
Together we can ensure our community will continue receiving exceptional medical care close to home, with state-of-the-art healthcare for the 21st century.
