Pediatric ICU

Young patients who require intensive care are transferred to Huntington Hospital's highly specialized pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), the only facility of its kind in the San Gabriel Valley. Our stand-alone PICU has nine beds dedicated exclusively to the care of the sickest young patients, and the unit is staffed by a full team of physicians and nurses who specialize in the care of seriously ill children. The PICU is managed by a medical director who also serves on staff at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Several pediatric specialists, including, but not limited to, cardiologists, general surgeons, hematologists, orthopedists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and pharmacists, are on call around the clock.
