Description:
The Type 2 Diabetes Education Program is intended for participants who have been diagnosed with diabetes and their family member(s).
The 3-session workshops consist of the following topics: About diabetes and monitoring your body, Nutrition (carb counting) and physical activity, and Preventing complications and medications. Upon completion of the 3-sessions participants are to return for a 2 month follow-up, and are eligible to participate in monthly support groups and receive quarterly newsletters.
Cost: Free (we validate parking), Registration is required
