Workforce Development: Basic Dysrhythmia and Pacemaker Review

This class is for RNs who have previously completed a Basic Dysrhythmia course, but have been so busy taking care of their patients that they have forgotten just a few of those important dysrhythmias, and their treatments. In addition, the following will be discussed: standardized procedure for emergency treatment of dysrhythmias, basic pacemaker function, including troubleshooting, new applications of pacemaker technology, such as resynchronization therapy

Class Prerequisites:
  • Prior successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia Analysis Class
  • Successful completion of a class pre-test (you will be assigned this test CBL module after registration in the class is confirmed). 

8 CE hours will be awarded upon course completion.
