Community Outreach Caring for our Community for over 100 years
RN Health Counseling
The goal of the community outreach registered nurse is to help families and individuals to achieve their optimal health potential.
Our registered nurses work in partnership with other community agencies to determine the community’s needs and what can be done to help meet those needs. As part of this effort, we regularly provide health counseling and screenings for diabetes and hypertension at a variety of community sites throughout the month.
Throughout the year, we participate in health fairs, providing health education for prevention and maintaining a healthful lifestyle. Community outreach registered nurses coordinate disease specific screening events each year. Free seasonal flu vaccinations are provided each fall.
The desire of each community outreach registered nurse is to empower members of our community to enjoy the healthiest lifestyle possible.
