Workforce Development is responsible for planning, organizing and directing a wide range of education and training activities for Huntington Hospital. Our goal is to help all employees maintain and improve their job skills, as well as prepare for jobs requiring greater skill. We are committed to helping each and every employee grow and develop both personally and professionally.

Workforce Development provides the education and training necessary to achieve optimum employee performance in both clinical and non-clinical areas. This includes new hire orientation, new grad training, ongoing competency training, professional development and continuing education. All training and educational offerings are based upon assessed needs, the hospital’s strategic plan and regulatory agency requirements.

As a member of the healthcare community, we are committed to extending our comprehensive education services to other clinical professionals.
