Women's Services: Breastfeeding Basics
This class provides instruction on breastfeeding techniques as well as encouragement and support for a woman’s choice to provide breast milk for her baby. Topics include milk production, positioning and attachment techniques and prevention and relief of common problems. Establishing milk supply and providing breast milk for a baby who is not yet able to breastfeed is also discussed. Fathers are also encouraged to attend
. 50-75% of women attending are accompanied by their husbands or special support persons.
Fee: $30.00 per couple
One, 3 Hour Class
Weeknight Classes: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Saturday Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Sunday Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Huntington Hospital’s parking lots are $1 per 15
minutes up to a maximum of $6. The first 15 minutes are free.
Valet parking is $7.
We also offer a 7 consecutive-day pass for $22, and a 20-visit pass with no
expiration for $60.
