Huntington Hospital Community Asthma Program (H.H.C.A.P.)
Asthma Education and Management Program
The Asthma Education and Management Program is designed from the National Institute of Health (NIH) guidelines. It helps to decrease emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and missing work or school. Asthma education provides participants with a better understanding of asthma and it also helps them to better communicate their asthma needs to their primary care physician.
