Asthma Education and Management Program

The Asthma Education and Management Program is designed from the National Institute of Health (NIH) guidelines. It helps to decrease emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and missing work or school. Asthma education provides participants with a better understanding of asthma and it also helps them to better communicate their asthma needs to their primary care physician.
One-On-One Asthma Education - Call to schedule an appointment.
This is an overview of asthma triggers, and asthma medications. Asthma education is offered to participants of all ages (children, adolescent and adults). Participants will receive asthma literature and handouts. Free equipment (peak flow meter and spacer) is provided for the participants. Technique on use of the equipment is demonstrated.
Asthma Clinic - Call to schedule an appointment.
The asthma clinic offers a free asthma evaluation for children, adolescents and adults. All participants are screened, evaluated and treated by an asthma/ allergy specialist or pulmonologist.
