Huntington Ambulatory Care Center
The Huntington Hospital Ambulatory Care Center (HACC), also known as the Dispensary, is a full service medical clinic staffed by the hospital’s internal medicine and surgical residents.
Please be on time for your appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late your appointment will be canceled. To cancel or postpone your appointment, call us at least 24 hours prior to the visit.
Your Medication/Prescription
Your HACC/Dispensary doctor may prescribe medication. If you require a refill, please call and let us know. We can usually fill your prescription within 24 hours. If you have not seen a HACC physician within six months, we will not be able to refill your prescription until you see a
HACC doctor.
Radiology/Laboratory Testing
Laboratory (blood tests) and radiology (scans and x-rays) are performed at the Huntington Pavilion, located at 625 South Fair Oaks, on the corner of California Boulevard and Fair Oaks.
Laboratory work can be scheduled Monday through Saturday. Radiology tests are performed at the Huntington-Hill Imaging Center and mammograms at the Huntington- Hill Breast Center – both located in the Huntington Pavilion.
When you show up for your lab work, radiology test or mammogram, you must bring your physician order and your insurance card (if you have insurance) with you or your test cannot be performed.
Parking and Hours of Operation:
When visiting HACC/dispensary, park in the East Parking Structure located on Fairmount Avenue across from the emergency department.
The parking rates for Huntington Hospital’s parking lots are $1 per 15
minutes up to a maximum of $6. The first 15 minutes are free.
Valet parking is $7.
We also offer a 7 consecutive-day pass for $22, and a 20-visit pass with no
expiration for $60.
The Huntington Hospital Ambulatory Care Center/ Dispensary is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
