Huntington Hospital Physicians can now access all the library’s resources from off-site via CONNECT or Citrix/Meditech! Learn how
Advantages of Citrix/Connect access over user id/password accounts:
- Get full functionality of the libraries resources, e.g., more full text links on Ovid and PubMed
- Don’t have to deal with different passwords for different resources, e.g., different passwords for Ovid and MD Consult.
- Access more resources, e.g., Online Catalog, electronic books and Guides
Reasons to create off-site accounts:
Why create an off-site account for OvidSP?
An individual OvidSP account provides these additional features:
- access to OvidSP content (ejournals, ebooks, etc.) for hospital employees not eligible for CONNECT/Citrix(Meditech) access
- customize your search interface (display most used limits, etc.)
Why create an off-site account for MDConsult?
- Provides off-site access to MDConsult content (ebooks, ejournals, guidelines, patient education, etc.) for hospital employees not eligible for CONNECT/Citrix(Meditech) access
- Username/password created for offsite desktop access will also provide PDA access (point your mobile device browser to http://mobile.mdconsult.com to be prompted for your account username and password, must be logged off of desktop account).
